Process oriented vs. Results oriented

  • Process oriented: Focusing on the process rather than the result

  • Even if you have a goal, in order to most effectively achieve that goal you need to focus on the process along the way

In order to be mindful, we cannot be assessing how we are doing at every moment. Rather we must focus on the act itself (the process) and then come back to the result (the goal) only as needed.
