"A decent man will behave decently even if he thinks that he has been treated unjustly or wrongly. But many people in such circumstances show a side of their nature which otherwise they would never show. And at times it is a necessary means for exposing a man’s nature. So long as you are good to a man he is good to you. But what will he be like if you scratch him a little?"

Gurdjieff

I can't get over this quote. It becomes more important when you realize no one is perfect and we can sometimes accidentally scratch one another, as if we have unretractable (non-cat like claws)

Usually when I see someone scratched or scratch then myself, it makes me more aware of the truly wise people I've met throughout my life. And of course, those who feign wisdom and are childish inside. Of course, it also gives me something to work towards, for I can only dream of being so decent upon being wronged/harmed either un/intentionally

Scratches heal if you let them, and dont gnaw or bite.themunintentionally.
